I sent E-mail attachments of the photomontage you sent me to Morpheus and Kahos. I told 'em I'll be sending E-pix of MY scooter when I get my Digicam next month.
Today I installed the muffler I ordered from Jireh Cycles. It's a nice looking unit, $39.95, made in the USA, and nicely chromed, with a universal mounting bracket with a sliding slot that bolted to the stock hanger with no problemo! I could only use one 5/16" bolt, but since the muffler weighs only 4 pounds (compared to the 12 pounds of the stock "propane tank"), it's a fine installation! I had to build up the header's diameter with 2" aluminum tape, which allowed a perfect joint!
The sound? Louder than I wanted, but manageable, as long as I use a light throttle in residential areas. At low RPM's it's a Bellow. At midrange, it's a Loud Snarl, and at high revs (which I never use), it's a Terrorizing Racket! Hell...I may even experiment with another muffler later on! Maybe a used Davidson silencer, like you're using! Now I've got to see what size my main jet is...maybe I'll want to go a bit richer!
